Job Summary
The Nursery Aide works under the supervision of the Nursery Associate and provides childcare for parents attending group meetings or services.
This position is responsible for actively engaging in the children's activities, using creativity to teach weekly lessons and sharing Jesus with each child.
The position will be for 5 -10 hours per week with a pay rate of $10 per hour. We are seeking two to four people to fill this position.
Qualifications:

Childcare experience preferred.

Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and children.

Dedicated and dependable to work assigned shifts.

Must be available to work two of the following shifts:

Sunday: 8:30 - 11:30 a.m.

Monday: 6 - 8 p.m.

Wednesday: 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.

Essential Responsibilities and Expectations:
Position-Specific:
-
14 to 17 years old.
-
Provide safety and supervision of children.
-
Plan and participate in age-appropriate activities and lessons.

Work effectively with various volunteer and staff personalities in a classroom setting.

Communicate regularly with parents, co-workers, and coordinators in a positive manner.

Perform other duties as needed by the Childcare Coordinator or Nursery Associate.
